  1. Heavenly performance of ‘d rather go blind. Could you point us to the recording pleeeaaase ….

  2. This is absolutely amazing!!. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF ‘MUSIC’. You hear, you feel, you relate, you enjoy and you cannot help but to be inspired by the content and messages in every song. As long as we have recordings of these classic iconic masterpieces there will always be hope for a brighter future filled with love and peace.

  5. Sorry, I have to call fake. Song 2 called ‘The Chain’ cannot be from 50s and 60’s blues. I checked the music copyright and this song was written by Lindsey Buckingham and Fleetwood Mac in the 70’s. Disappointing. I am looking for genuine blues songs and found this. Shame on you.

  6. Life long (only 19 years) rock fan, just getting into R&B, the seed that sprouted into the music I’ve loved. Straight off the bat this compilation is killer.

  7. Great selection. Many of these are better than performances of iconic songs than the ones that came out of the studios. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I was really moved by the Jerry Butler and the Impressions track and by the Smoky Robinson track. Its also the best take on the Platters song I have ever heard. Please, please do another one of these compilations. They rock my 75 year old bones.
